Rimiyoho Live Mapping at Foro Allende 5

For this large scale project at Foro Allende 5 in Mexico City, the visual narrative centered around Mexican identity, mythology, and folklore. I wanted to bring powerful, traditional icons into a contemporary digital format that took over the walls of the venue.

Using Tagtool, I created an immersive visual universe inspired by the feather serpent or Quetzalcoatl deity, colorful alebrijes, and the Tecuani, the traditional jaguar dancer. I have always been drawn to the Tecuani because of its visual strength, expressiveness, and deep rootedness in Mexican ritual dances.

Transforming these mythical characters into massive live drawings allowed me to explore their organic textures and shapes, turning the venue's walls into a celebration of cultural heritage.
