Tagtool Workshops
Tagtool workshops for kids, youth, or adults offer a vibrant space to explore interactive art as a direct form of pure expression and intuitive creation. Through a playful and collaborative approach, participants learn to master the application's functions, transforming their ideas into fluid, spontaneous animations. Rimiyoho is available for group sessions, tailored courses, and cultural programs looking to merge technology, education, and community through live digital drawing.
I was invited to give Tagtool workshops for Kids at BS Kids Library as part of the activities of Festival de Cultura y Tecnología de Oaxaca 2017.
Kids created masks using traditional techniques using acrylic paint and later painted it on Tagtool, giving the possibility to animate them creating a collective projection exploring new ways to bring their ideas to life.
Kids enjoyed to see their characters projected on the walls and started to interact with them, turning the classroom into a big canvas for interactive art.
Working alongside Yollocalli Arts Reach, an incredible youth initiative of the National Museum of Mexican Art that empowers young creatives in Chicago, I led an intensive Tagtool workshop for local youth.
The workshop focused on helping young storytellers master the app's functions. Students learned to bring their ideas to life, animating fluidly and intuitively right from their iPads.
I was invited to give a Tagtool Workshop for Apple Creative Studios Chicago at the National Museum of Mexican Art.
Young creatives learned how to use Tagtool for iPad to tell their story and at the end of the week they had their first public projection in Mana Contemporary.
It was an amazing collaboration between Yollocalli Arts Reach, Lumpen Radio and Apple Creative Studios Chicago in a 5-week project offering a free program for young storytellers in Chicago to produce an audio and visual storytelling experience.
